VulQano Park is Ecuador's sole amusement park. It's located at the lower levels of Cruz Loma, the mountain overlooking Quito. This fairly small but neat park has three roller coasters. Two are aimed at the younger ones specifically. We were allowed to ride both smaller coasters, to the surprise and amusement of the ride operator.
Only one adult at a time was allowed to ride Truck Race. Apart from the coasters, the park has a large selection of various rides for all members of the family. Being a working day the park was quiet. There were more staff members then guests. A park that is open year around I guess it makes its money on weekends and public holidays.
After visiting the park we took the TelefériQo (cable car) to the top of Cruz Loma. The view from the top of is absolutely stunning, and highly recommended.
