Karting Cross

Karting Cross was our second park of the day. Checking Google Maps, the assumption I had was that we'd get to the park comfortably within forty five minutes. Due to hideously slow roads and our driver not knowing the exact location, it took us double that time.

Karting Cross is a small adventure park located west of Pereira and-- more importantly for us-- north of Armenia. The park consists of  go-karts, quad bikes, zip lines, paintball and a handful of  small mechanical rides. Towering above all of these is the Montaña Rusa, a relocated Soquet coaster that until 2008 was the centerpiece of Camelot Park, another Colombian amusement park near Bogotá that is now permanently closed.

Go-Kart track.

Montaña Rusa has been operating at Karting Cross since 4/5/2009.
It previously operated at Camelot Park as Montaña Rusa  from 1998 to 2008 or earlier.
